We’re looking for artwork inspired by: 💛 community 🌿 nature 🏙️ Binghamton culture & landmarks ✨ imagination & storytelling 🎭 activism & connection 🖌️ anything your heart desires! Selected artists will: • Receive compensation • Be credited in the publication • Become part of a collaborative community art project Black-and-white linework and coloring-page friendly artwork encouraged, but all styles are welcome. Last week we hosted a First Friday pop-up, “Homegrown,” and it was a blast! Definitely one of those nights that reminded us how much creativity and community really go hand in hand 🎨✨ Huge thank you to @deepstate.607 for their space, (@zap607 ) Zappia Athletic Products for collaborating with us and helping bring local artists and people together, and to (@vinesgardens ) VINES who came to share info on their Farm Share program! Because of the artist’s donations, they are receiving a part of the proceeds to continue doing amazing work around community gardens, food access, and sustainability in Binghamton! 🌱 Also big love to the Broome County Arts Council (@broomearts @bcacartisangallery ) for supporting local art, and to WBNG-TV (@wbng12news ) for having us / artist @art_by_brielle on “Around the Tiers” to help spread the word 💛 This is exactly the kind of thing we want to keep building! Spaces where local art supports local businesses, local causes, and actual human connection. We will be donating a portion of proceeds to @vinesgardens , a grassroots community gardens organization that brings volunteers together to promote sustainability, food security, and youth employment programs.
