Captured on the second actual day I spent shooting with my new dive housing with my trusty 📸 @canonusa inside. I’m pretty excited to see where this journey will continue to take me to say the least. it certainly has a way with drawing in what seems so far away making hundreads of miles feel like just a hop skip and a jump, and I’m sure I’ll leave my peninsular backyard here at some point but for now I’m more than content, otherwise back to your regularly scheduled programming..

Oh what a joyous little rock we live upon, It’s damp, dark , and dirty at times.. but I’m thankful for the blessings it gives. The Mammalian in all of us would be happy to know that its core runs hot much like us.

It’s manatee season! As the weather drops here in Florida, manatees swarm the springs to retreat into their winter homes, snow birds of sorts they occupy these artesian wells until the weather warms again in early spring. Fortunately for them we have the highest concentration of freshwater springs anywhere in the world!
