Good Morning from the Mayo Clinic!
We hope you all are well and safe. Today’s update is what we’ve all been waitin for....ANTON”S SURGERY IS A GO!!!...and is happening TODAY!! He has been cleared as of yesterday to go forward after months of waiting, roadblocks and now a global pandemic...Anton’s heart is about to get fixed!

SCHEDULE:
Thurs -Sat May 7-9 Anton left Telluride and drove back to his dad’s in Ohio, staying in his truck and looking like a ninja.
Sunday May 10 Anton and family made the 10 hour drive to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN.
Mon May 11- Tues 12th. Anton undergoes pre surgery testing, imaging and COVID19 screening.
WEDS MAY 13th ❤️❤️SURGERY❤️❤️ Sleep for 2 days
Wake up and get me moving ICU for 5-7 days.
Recovery at Dads till end of June.

It sure is a strange time to be going into a hospital and having surgery in a time when the whole world is on pause and , as we navigate this invisible killer, and the uncertainty of our futures.
I have spent the last 6 months trying to stay healthy and present and get myself back into the hospital to have surgery . I am so grateful to all of you and your support.

Hey everyone,
In the last few days I finally got the approval for my surgery from Anthem BCBS. In 2 months time, I will be traveling across the country again as my surgery has been rescheduled for May 13th at the Rochester Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. This is 4 months after I had originally planned on.
I am back in Telluride till end of April, I am working and exercising as much as tolerated .It is harder and harder to exercise and do physical activity than I am used to
As my symptoms are slowly getting worse.
Other than that, my spirits are good, I am relieved to have a plan in place.
Again, I want to acknowledge and thank the community for their support, which has been huge! Just knowing that I can relax a bit and heal in the recovery period is an amazing feeling.

🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡UPDATE🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 Today is January 30th, and a pivotal point in Anton’s fight for care. Anton has been back on the road again driving to Colorado to see a Anthem BCBS approved cardiologist to look at his condition and decide whether or not his care is possible in network. There has been so much going on in the background, making calls, appealing to heads of state, following leads from friends and family, to try and get the care Anton needs and deserves. Updating has been challenging as the information changes daily and sometimes hourly.
Exhausting and stressful
