We are pleased to welcome Velvia (@alexandremkfilm ) to Deep Breakfast.
Based in Paris, the vinyl collector and film photographer crafts immersive journeys through ambient, downtempo, deep techno and other hybrid sounds, guided by a deep affinity for analog textures and emotional resonance. His mixes unfold slowly through hypnotic atmospheres, melancholic tones and introspective rhythms.
About the mix he said:
"I recorded this ambient set using two turntables with a specific feeling in mind: the ease of spring, warm sun, a calm breeze, and the sound of birds. I wanted to create a soundtrack for those spring or summer after-lunch naps in a hammock.
Affected by the current world news, I wanted to find a way to counterbalance the suffering and injustice we are seeing - specifically in Lebanon and Palestine. This is my attempt to offer something soft and peaceful against such hardship"

Today we are delighted to share with you a hybrid set by Serenus, recorded live at Genezarethkirche in Berlin on March 12th, during an event curated by the Lowpass collective, of which he is a co-founder.
"After a few years of organising carefully curated club nights, we (Lowpass) have launched a new concept of deep listening sessions. This is the recording of my second hybrid set during those sessions. The desire was to bring music to people outside of a club context, while maintaining immersion and depth for our guests and providing a space of deceleration and healing. While my hybrid sets always change, the concept is similar: a journey of deconstruction and reconstruction. Starting with rhythmic arrangements, I strip sounds down to their most essential elements, before reconstructing in a deeper, more balanced final."

With spring now in full swing, we are pleased to welcome Oreste, the Méribel-based producer working at the intersection of ambient and experimental sound.
His most recent album on Oslated, Arcana Amissa Temporum Oblitum, first drew our attention for the way it sculpts memory and atmosphere into a slow, immersive narrative.
About the mix he said:
"The recording of this mix does not deviate from my usual creative process. I’ve always been a very instinctive person when it comes to music and art in general. I rely more on feeling and intuition than on planning, more on the moment than on perfection. I can’t stand spending days, weeks, or years polishing a single piece of work.
Recorded during a rainy afternoon in a forest in French Britany in my van . No overthinking, just picking up music i enjoy in my library . I like to think of it as capturing something honest, something raw, maybe imperfections are part of the story rather than something to erase.
The selection naturally leans toward on things I like , jazzy tune , black dreams , weathered textures , melancholy pehaps ?
In a way, this mix reflects how I experience music myself: Something immediate, impulsive and unthought."

We’re delighted to welcome Adam Pits to Deep Breakfast, an artist whose sound unfolds with rare sensitivity and depth.
London born DJ and Producer Adam Pits has been a valuable component of the psychedelic dance music scene’s re-emergence in recent years. With releases on Space Lab, Further Sessions, On Rotation, murmurs and many more, he has been able to express his vast musical imagination.
His innate understanding of feeling and effect within music has helped nurture his involvements in running labels ‘On Rotation’ and ‘murmurs’ and overseen his explorations playing at some of the best clubs and festivals the world has to offer including Fabric, Macadam, Nowadays, Ozora, Dimensions and many more. Having played countless all night long and extended sets, Adam appears to flourish in an environment that encourages journeying, patience and meditation without tainting the inevitable momentum that ensues.
About the mix he said:
"This mix is very much a reflection of my inner feelings. I find myself always looking deeper than I should into most aspects of life, and that sometimes leads me to a collective feeling of happiness and sadness. I hope this mix also gives listeners a sense of yearning for life and everything that comes with that, gently cradled by subtle hope and optimism all the while."

Over the past years, Alfred Czital has quietly shaped a distinctive presence within the European underground, moving between Prague and Berlin while contributing to the evolving identity of the Harmony Rec. collective. As both a curator and a selector, his approach has always leaned towards immersion rather than impact, favouring long form narratives over immediate gratification.
Rooted in a deep appreciation for groove, harmony and subtle progression, his sets are guided by a precise sensitivity to dynamics. Rather than forcing momentum, he allows it to emerge, carefully aligning textures, tonalities and rhythmic undercurrents into something that unfolds naturally over time. It is a philosophy shaped through years of digging, patient refinement, and a clear respect for the internal logic of each track.
For this new episode of Deep Breakfast, Czital leans into that instinct with particular clarity, embracing a more intimate and restrained space. What emerges is not a sequence of moments, but a continuous state, measured, fluid, and quietly absorbing. Transitions dissolve into one another, density shifts almost imperceptibly, and the narrative reveals itself gradually, rewarding attentive listening rather than demanding attention.
It is a mix that does not seek resolution, but rather suspension, holding its ground in that delicate space where simplicity, detail, patience and flow become the true focal points
About the mix he said:
“While putting this mix together, I kept picturing people just enjoying a really cozy moment. Maybe on their own, maybe with someone they love, letting the music quietly set the mood.
Honestly, the best thing I could hear is that this ended up being part of something special for you. A great trip, a lovely date, or even just a peaceful walk where everything felt right for a while.
To me, it feels like a little daydream you can step into, where old memories and the present kind of blend together. I made it with a lot of care, and with genuinely good intentions behind it.”

As the days grow softer and spring takes hold, we warmly welcome Luna Ludmila to guide us through the journey.
Luna Ludmila (Utrecht, NL) has been quietly refining her sonic language for over two decades, moving with ease between DJing, production, and live performance. Her sound unfolds through dub-inflected grooves, dusty house textures, and intricate, tribal-leaning rhythms, creating hypnotic journeys that feel both immersive and deeply personal.
Rooted in the Dutch electronic scene, she has become a familiar presence at spaces such as Breakfast Club, Is Burning, VBX, Lofi, and De School, while her path abroad has led her to iconic venues including Tresor, Club der Visionaere, Lux Frágil, and Macadam. In 2023, she introduced her first live club set at Bassiani, marking a natural evolution in her artistic expression. Since then, she has continued to explore this format across venues like Paradiso (STOOR), BRET, and WAS., as well as festivals including La Nature and Drift.
Beyond the club context, Luna’s work opens into more introspective territories. With a background in composition and sound design from HKU, she has developed a growing focus on ambient and downtempo music, alongside interdisciplinary collaborations. In November 2024, she premiered her first audiovisual performance with visual artist Grigory Gromov at Podium Victorie, followed by a sold-out ambient live set during ZERO BPM at the Thomaskerk in Amsterdam.
Much of her time is spent in the studio, where she explores the subtleties of texture, space, and rhythm. This ongoing process has led to releases on labels such as SoHaSo and Berg Audio. Across different formats, Luna Ludmila continues to shape a sound that feels intimate, timeless, and quietly forward-moving.

Episode 351 opens like a threshold, and this time it is Sheldon Drake who guides us across it.
From the very first moments, the atmosphere feels alive, elastic, quietly magnetic. Sounds do not simply follow one another, they gather, overlap, fracture, and reassemble into shifting constellations. The flow is fluid yet deliberate, driven by an undercurrent that feels both instinctive and precise. Nothing is static. Everything breathes.
As the journey deepens, layers thicken and then suddenly thin out, revealing unexpected spaces between them. Rhythm is not imposed, it emerges, pulses, recedes, and returns transformed. There is a subtle tension running throughout, balanced by passages of suspended clarity, creating a landscape that is at once visceral and contemplative.
This is an experience designed to be entered slowly, allowing perception to adjust and expand. Not a narrative to follow, but an environment to inhabit.
"I don’t look to music for soothing and comfort, or the solace of a cozy center. I prefer an outward vector, away from the familiar, into the strange, storms sliding on and off the stage, lost broken pieces clashing and combining, waltzing together briefly before they part forever. I make mixes to help people drift further into the jungles of their minds. One of my favorite possessions is my padded eye mask. I can be in a bright room, in darkness, with my eyes wide open. That, and good headphones, a nice couch, and this mix, and you should be sorted. Thank you to all who let me share this with you."

Some sets arrive, resonate, and quietly settle into the fabric of a series. Others move differently, tracing a longer arc.
Murkok’s contribution to Deep Breakfast first appeared in November 2021. As new episodes followed and the project moved forward, this particular set was inadvertently taken down. For a time, it lived outside the catalogue, remembered by a few, absent for many.
Today, it finds its place again.
Ilya shapes a journey of depth and restraint, built entirely from his own productions. Layers of texture unfold with measured subtlety, tones drift and dissolve into one another, and space itself becomes a compositional element. There is a rare sense of coherence throughout, a quiet luminosity that reveals itself gradually. The set unfolds as a continuous body of work, guided by a singular vision and a refined, immersive intensity.
We are happy to share it with you.
