A series of fear driven commercials directed by @robingoode99 .The first popularly known as “Papa vag vir jou” won a Silver Lion award for best TV advertisement at Cannes Film Festival in 2011.
This was the most I have been stretched in streetcasting, and what a journey into worlds I would never imagine making it into commercials.
Getting into this world and casting real gangsters,ex prisoners and intimidating characters led me into my next great casting stretch with @iangabriel_giant working on his second feature film Four Corners.

Diversity is without a doubt our strength in South Africa.This commercial’s cast were all sourced within a 40km radius, and with a bit of help from @vanessaleebrierley these amazing little South Africans were coached to sound like they were representing nationalities around the globe in a Rugby World Cup theme for Land Rover.

Latergramming with our first post,this throwback goes back to 2008 when @amin_arnold_gray got his first job as an independent casting director after apprenticing Rae Goodwin for 7 years.25 years casting in the commercial film industry in Cape Town and Amin is not stopping anytime soon.
