Lights strobe like fractured stars in the dark, A galaxy of sound ignites a primal spark. Bodies collide, a sea of electric sway, Each pulse of rhythm washing thought away. Feet pound the earth, hearts sync to the beat, Energy surges, wild and bittersweet. The high tide rises, we drown in the sound, A wave of joy where no edges are found. We sink, we soar, we’re weightless and free, Lost in the ocean of this ecstasy. But beyond the storm, another world lies, Beneath soft moonlight, the low tide sighs. A meadow of calm, where the stars take their rest, A rhythm subdued, a breath from the chest. Here, time slows as the waves retreat, The sand cool beneath weary feet. The tide is gentle, the air a balm, A whispered melody, quiet and calm. Relief floods in like a soothing stream, A moment of stillness, a tender dream. Yet deep in our hearts, the echoes remain, Of the high tide’s rush, the sweet refrain. So we dance in the spaces, both wild and still, Guided by tides that bend to our will.
