New York City does this thing a few times a year when it gifts its millions of residents the most impeccable weather. You can feel the city buoyed by the sun, the breeze, the cerulean sky. To make things even more magical, it has this way of sometimes ushering you through the perfect kind of day— to all right spots, where your meandering pays off. That thing you love is on sale and that perfect outdoor table opens up just as you arrive and that nail salon has availability right now (for 2!) and the price of lunch is remarkably affordable and you bump into all the right people and places that make the day feel like it was curated just for you. It’s special and it doesnt always happen, but it did this weekend. I think mom was looking out for us. ✨
