Nothing quite like the Philippines!
Was scrubbing through some footages from the past years and realized there’s so much not seen yet. Let’s start from the home country!

Half asleep moments in airports and bus rides, never truly resting, not in any way that counts, at least. I seem to be in a perpetual state of transit– always leaving, never arriving. Constantly rushing from one place to another. Carelessly consumed by the motion that connects this moment to the next. Always needing to be somewhere else, somewhere far, somewhere not here. But throughout the years I have learned to remember places through the hours I spent getting there. I have learned to map stories through the side streets that led me there. These are the moments I will repeatedly fall in love with, in the temporary transitions that always seem to lead to the unexpected, the uncertain, the unkown.

A quick trip through Lake Sebu, mountain ridges, waterfalls, and places that deserve way more attention.
Didn’t expect this part of the Philippines to feel this untouched and peaceful. Hopefully I can come back and stay even longer.

Luang Prabang, Laos. A small, quiet town tucked deep in the country. If we wanted to truly go off-grid and find peace, this is the place! 🧎🏻♂️

Northern lights season is coming to an end!
And though I can say seeing them has become quite frequent, some nights are just more magical. Maybe it’s the brightness, the colors or even the joy of watching others experience it for the first time.
Here’s a compilation of the best ones I captured this season.
Slide 2 actually came from me forgetting my camera was on timelapse. I kept moving it around while working on another camera. Nonetheless, it ended up capturing an amazing memory from an unforgettable night.

I’ve done this quick excursion into the fjords over arctic waters a few times now, and it never gets old. Along the way, we spot these white-tailed eagles. They circle, draw near, probably knowing exactly why we’re there, passing just meters away with the fjords behind them. It’s a sight to see and one I’ll keep coming back too!

Iceland keeps it extra icy ❄️
Although locals are used to the ever-changing weather and conditions, I’m from the tropics so this is all fascinating, and sometimes even a bit scary. Road conditions and wind speeds are constantly monitored before heading out, even for short distances.
Currently on day 18, so here are some photos taken in between the storms we’ve been threading through.

Back in Iceland, and it never stops putting on a show.
Haven’t had time to pull together a full edit yet, but here are a few frames from the journey so far. Let me know which one you like most!

Norway felt colorful and colorless at the same time. The sun burned yellow, but the storms painted everything blue. Days were often moody and grey, until the northern lights lit up the night sky in green.
Will be heading back to Norway soon so took the time to check out some previous photos I took a year ago.
