So on the 17th August i did my first ever live radio mix (!!) on @extradiouk for the Ubuntu Show that my girl @that_low_key_dj was hosting for Women’s Month.♡ For those who don’t know, Ubuntu is this beautiful concept from Southern Africa that means “I am because we are”. All about community and connection, which honestly made it feel even more special.⋆.𐙚 ̊ Got to meet some amazing people too, like @djsizzla01 thank you again for your hospitality and the beautiful @__cruz.ctrl that killed it with an amazing deep house mix.. the vibes ? Had the honour of opening for @sonke_party a few weekends back and wow, what a vibe!♡ Being surrounded by such genuine people, amazing dj's giving us non stop hits, and even more delicious food, this day really felt like home & can't wait for the the next one. Welcome to the journey of a hobby turned to a passion project. ♬⋆.˚ Music has always been a huge part of my life — from playing flute in school bands, leading warcries in the crowd, to being that friend who always took over the aux at every party. What started as fun turned into a real love for DJing, and now after learning, experimenting, and practicing, this feels like journey worth sharing with everyone. This page is my space to share that passion with you - through the sounds I love, especially Southern African music, and through mixing different genres and cultures together to show how they can all live on the same dancefloor. I want this to be music for the people. No gatekeeping, no exclusives that you can’t find anywhere!! I know how frustrating it’s gotten trying to Shazam a track from a mix and not being able to hear it again. My purpose here is to make the music I play as accessible, enjoyable, and open to everyone as possible. The world can feel heavy and chaotic at times but music has always been the thing that brings people together.
