It was a pleasure to go into Alverstoke Junior School and return the most travelled bear, 'Sizzles'.
He first joined me 21 years ago on my solo westabout circumnavigation and has been there for many more since. He returned to school this week to share his adventures with @thefamousprojectcic He has lived the motto of the school to be ambitious, be brave and be kind, with love, courage and respect.
I was overwhelmed by questions and hope I have inspired the children to dream big.
I had so much fun last week learning new skills with a very patient team.

For the first time, the Funding the Future initiative will introduce a focus on women and girls in the judging criteria, where clubs, charities and university teams are invited to write how they are supporting female participation - whether through new initiatives or the expansion of existing programmes.
@deecaffari MBE, Funding the Future judge, Sunsail Ambassador and record-breaking sailor, remains a core part of the initiative. Having recently participated in the Jules Verne record attempt as the first all-female crew, Dee continues to advocate for club accessibility.
She says: “Grassroots sailing clubs play a vital role in encouraging inclusivity and accessibility in a sport that can and should be enjoyed by all. They are the place where confidence is built, skills are learned, and passion begins. Ensuring these clubs are recognised for their inclusive programmes and environments is paramount to inspiring the next generation of sailors.”

The final day of a busy schedule. Five days felt a little like 5 weeks but I am confident with the team I got to hang out with, the end result will be great.
Thank you to the RYA and @sunsailholidays for the creative idea and @sunsailaganabase for guiding us so well.
A few hours later and I have swapped boats and Country.
Sailing with @sunsailaganabase in the beautiful Dalmation coast of Croatia.
I landed and 30 minutes later we are afloat and heading to Sesula Bay for our first night.
Guess which seat is mine?
Not sure what happens in the sunny seat, but it was the only one on the plane. Maybe they knew about my sunny nature or the fact I am solar powered 😂
