The people who make it all possible.
From morning preparations to the last guests of the evening, De Durgerdam is shaped by the people behind it.
A team that brings warmth, care, and quiet dedication to eveything we do.
Reach out through our website. We would love to hear from you.
We love places that tell a story, and sometimes that story is told through art.
At Durgerdam, with nearly 100 carefully curated works, each piece reflects a sense of place and connects to Durgerdam. One of our favourites, Zonnebrand (Sunburn, 1965) by Jacqueline de Jong, has recently returned to our walls after being displayed at Kunstmuseum St. Gallen in Switzerland, in a special exhibition celebrating the late Dutch artist. Bold, satirical, and unafraid to blend playfulness with politics, De Jong’s work continues to inspire.
We are delighted to have this remarkable piece back with us, and feel honoured to share it once again with our guests.
A spring day calls for a bike ride out to Durgerdam. Just outside Amsterdam, with the village, water and a table, or better yet, a room waiting for you at De Durgerdam. Book your Spring stay!
Experience the magic of Durgerdam by staying in one of our Garden rooms and wake up to the most delightful views.
Book your room via the link in our bio.
