To the woman who gave me life, and continues to guide me every day 🤍
Mother’s Day hasn’t been the same since losing my mom, You Mei Hui. She was the most big-hearted, empathetic person I’ve ever known — always putting love into everyone around her.
I’m An (owner of De Duallè), and this space exists because of her. As a Taiwanese daughter with many dreams, I was lucky to have a mother who believed in every version of me. She inspired me to create fearlessly, to be an artist, and to never make myself smaller for the world.
Even on her deathbed, she somehow still saved my life from a natural phenomenon that kept me bedridden. She will always be the pillar in my heart and my guardian angel above me.
Everything I create carries a piece of her. 🤍
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms here, in heaven, in the galaxies and in our hearts forever. ✨
