Custom tattoo done in an engraving tattoo style
Inspired by antique illustrations and printmaking, this style uses contrast, textures and linework to create depth and movement that lasts over time
Not every idea fits an engraving tattoo, it needs to be designed intentionally from the start
This custom tattoo was done in two sessions ✨ First session : the design was created at the beginning of the appointment, we took the time to go back and forth, adjust and refine it together, then applied the stencil and started building the base
One month of healing
Second session : going back in with contrast, textures and details once the skin was fully settled
This is how you get a tattoo that heals well and stays sharp over time.

1 month healed tattoo at the end
POV: tu veux un tattoo mais tu sais pas comment ça marche, fak tu procrastines depuis 8 mois.
Voici mon processus en 5 étapes 🧚🏼♂️
(oui, oui, y’a plein d’affaires que j’ai pas mis, comme :
- Conceptualiser le dessin
- Préparer le studio pour recevoir les client.e.s
- Désinfection de ma table à tattoo avant de mettre le bedsheet (j’ai oublié de le filmer)
- Nettoyage de l’espace de travail post-session de tattoo
- Regarder dans le vide après un bon 2h de tatouage aussi méticuleux et délicat presque non-stop
- Pis pleinnnnns d’autres affaires)
Parce que se faire tatouer, c’est pas juste « choisir un dessin », ça c’est la partie facile … c’est un long processus qui demande de la patience, du soin et beaucoup de confiance.

(yes, yes, there are a bunch of things I didn’t include, like:
- conceptualizing the design
- getting the studio ready to welcome clients
- disinfecting my tattoo table before putting on the bedsheet (I forgot to film it)
- cleaning the workspace after the tattoo session
- staring into the void after a solid 2 hours of tattooing that’s meticulous and delicate almost non-stop
- and maaaaaany other things)
Because getting tattooed isn’t just « picking a design », that’s the easy part… it’s a long process that takes patience, care, and a lot of trust.
