Our Chair Corey Mwamba and supporter and dance tutor, Camille Mauduit @camcamdancedance , were on Ian Skye's show today. It was an impassioned plea about what our building offers, it's programmes of work in and for the community of Derby's artistic landscape, and why it's vital it continues.

This petition has nearly 2,500 signature now. We are extremely grateful for this support. It really does mean everything to us as we seek ways in which our provision of dance classes, performances, and community outreach programs can continue.

This is a difficult time for us all. But despite this news we are looking for a solution to save what the organisation does, and avoid closure of the building by working with stakeholders and partners.
Your support since the news has been nothing short of heart-warming and inspiring and, and we really appreciate how you feel about the news but also your desire to help in finding solutions, too. Seeing nearly 2,000 signatures signed to a petition to save us, set up by a Déda supporter is just one of example of your support for us that we humbly feel and accept.
