I love replacement animation, and I can’t wait until have access to more advanced laser cutters to really refine this 2d animation in 3d space work. Would love to keep doing work like this! 🌟

Paper animation I made for the announcement of production for “It’s Going to Get Weirder”, directed by Sharon McKenna (my mom!!) @seanchaistudio
As many of you know Terence McKenna is my mom’s cousin, and he was such a prolific researcher and speaker. 🍄 She’s finally getting the chance to assemble her footage into a film about Terence and his influence. She started this over 25 years ago and I’m really proud she’s getting the chance to take this project on. ⭐️⭐️
She’s launched crowdfunding, and I’ve put the link in my bio. Any amount helps, as she’s working on the project independently. We came up with some cool rewards! But even sharing is so appreciated. If funding is reached, I will be stepping in as Animation Director to create stop-motion animations throughout the whole film!! 🥳

Saltwater is officially online! 🌊🪨🕸️
For my 26th birthday, I decided to write a retrospective on Saltwater, which I have now published on Substack (link in bio)! As well, Saltwater is finally available to watch on Vimeo. Thank you to all the festivals and people that watched the film. 💟
Since I took my sweet time putting it out, I added some behind the scenes thoughts about my time in Baltimore, developing the animation in the film, and my experience after finishing it. 🌟

even though graduation was a month and a half ago the grind never stops 😤😤💪🏼💪🏼…. until the studio closes for the summer…. so I guess I can finally accept that the school year is over 😭 what an amazing experience with all my friends, so happy I was able to come here to Barcelona for @bau_master_stopmotion , and to make a pretty stellar film with Chel, Ana, and Gebby. Im going to miss 12 hour studio days with everyone so much. for now, I’ll be in Spain, finishing up the film 🧱🌱🌱
Annecy 2025! ⭐️ 2 years ago I came to Annecy (and France) for the first time, and it motivated me to move to Europe and pursue the animation industry over here. I can’t believe I’m getting to build a life so far from home and experience such beautiful places, inspiring films, and so many amazing people. Can’t wait for what’s next! 🌹🌀 #annecyfestival

We went to see @sauvages_lefilm at the @sitgesfestival and took these pictures using this muybridge clip as the silhouette. classic little animation also so happy to touch a laser cutter again…

today was my last day at LAIKA before I head off to grad school! ⭐️
What a privilege to work among such talented artists and some of the most amazingly kind people I’ve ever met. Being able to lead the outreach committee alongside Madeleine, Daisy, Scotty, Mylun, Karin, AR, Joe and so many others was a dream come true. Having LAIKA support us bringing rapid prototyping to community activism… wow, how amazing to be a part of that. I am so proud of our sustainability and diversity efforts, and the amazing technical work that we are achieving. I got to work on a MOVIE Y’ALL! Real shots real puppets real faces. I learned so much and I am so eternally grateful ❤️ see ya sometime soon :)

I created a sitting area upstairs this time and had my tiles displayed with the animation on a tv borrowed from @marsfm.band :-). thank you for all the love, it was so nice talking about it during the show! there’s something really interesting about making art about intimacy in the home and then displaying it inside of my home?
thank you to all the visual artists, writers, and musicians that showed out, it’s awesome creating and sharing creative space with everyone!
