Today we are starting our Year-End retrospective that features the releases we produced during 2025.
Decrepisy’s second album, “Deific Mourning”, was our first release of the year. Leaning heavier on the Doom side of Death than their first output, “Emetic Communion”, “Deific Mourning” pulls from Goth-Industrial influences that seep through the infected wounds that comprise the decomposing body of the album. Each track a stage of grief and unbelief as life abandons form into the mystery of the unknown. Stillborn in anxiety, grief, and sickness, every riff agonizingly culled from terror, despair, and disintegration of a dying form.
No Clean Singing affirms the above mentioned by adding, “The tangible depression-made sound captured on this album carries with it a shroud of bleakness that serves as the underlying current everpresent here. The melancholic haze the songs cast feels heavier…as the emotion invested in these songs feels more dangerous and real. The more aggressive moments of climax feel like a primal cry that accepts the malevolence in this world and celebrates it as part of its apocalyptic whole.”
