As the weather warms up, gardens naturally become an extension of the home - spaces for slowing down, entertaining and spending more time outdoors.
For this Surrey project, the garden was redesigned to feel more open, structured and connected to the house, creating a layout that works more intuitively for day-to-day living.
Clean architectural lines bring a contemporary feel, while layered planting and carefully selected materials soften the space and add warmth and texture throughout.
Distinct zones allow the garden to shift effortlessly throughout the day, from quiet morning coffee to relaxed evenings spent entertaining family and friends.

Cloakrooms are a great place to create original and even playful interior designs.
Tucked away from the main living spaces, they offer the opportunity to introduce colour, pattern and contrast in a way that might feel too bold elsewhere, but works perfectly here.
Wallpaper, bolder palettes and more decorative details can completely transform these smaller rooms, turning them into something a little unexpected.
It’s often the smallest spaces that leave the strongest impression.
Save this for future cloakroom inspiration.

A considered kitchen renovation is about more than how it looks; it’s about how it works over time.
In this Surrey renovation, Decorbuddi interior designer Amanda Delaney reconfigured the space to create a more open and connected kitchen, centred around a generous island.
A softer palette is paired with deeper tones to introduce contrast, while integrated storage keeps the space feeling calm and uncluttered.
Each element is carefully considered, creating a kitchen that works intuitively and supports the way the space is used every day.

A quiet and considered living room with individual details to suit our clients.
Elegant neutrals and soft blues create a sense of calm, while bespoke joinery gently anchors this living room design, housing books, objects and personal treasures that spark joy on a daily basis.
Thoughtful architectural interior design, from panelling to hardware, creates a beautiful foundation to layer more personal elements upon.
Part of our Wimbledon renovation project, this is a room designed around daily life, made for quiet moments of contentment.

Meet Ann
Working across Surrey, London and the Home Counties, Ann brings a thoughtful, intuitive approach to interior design, shaped by her background in mentoring and executive coaching.
A self-taught designer with a lifelong passion for interiors, she is known for her confident use of colour and sensitivity to period architecture.
Before joining Decorbuddi Ann ran her own interior design business, Ann Jackman Interiors for many years. “I loved running my own interior design business, but I missed the creativity and companionship that comes from being part of a team,” she says. “Decorbuddi gives me the best of both worlds. With the support around marketing and administration, I can focus on what I do best while working on a wider range of exciting projects.”
Projects range from the redesign of Georgian and Victorian homes to contemporary apartment refurbishments. Alongside this she has developed a reputation as a specialist in houseboat interior design, undertaking a number of projects located along the River Thames.
Ann’s work is confident, considered and full of personality. She creates beautiful homes that are both in-keeping with the structure of the property and personal to the people living within.

A team day with real purpose
We had the privilege of volunteering with Furnishing Futures recently, an incredible UK charity that creates fully furnished, trauma-informed homes for women rebuilding their lives after escaping domestic abuse.
We spent the day working alongside the @furnishingfutures team, sorting, building and packing furniture in preparation for creating homes for women and children beginning a new chapter.
Their work goes far beyond furniture, creating homes that offer safety and a strong foundation for families to rebuild.
We’re so grateful to have been part of supporting such an important cause and look forward to being involved again in the future.

From awkward angles to effortless calm.
When our client invited us to create a luxury primary suite that felt harmonious, practical and calming, we began by reassessing the layout to make better use of the space.
Working within the challenges of a 1930s loft, including pitched ceilings and awkward angles, we introduced a soft, pale green across the walls and ceiling to create a cohesive backdrop. A Chinoiserie wallpaper behind the bed sets the tone. Considered layers of pattern through the upholstered chair, lampshade, cushions and throw adds softness and depth.
By varying the scale and keeping to a considered palette, each element brings interest without overwhelming the space.
The result is a restful, layered scheme that looks and feels lovely and is easy to live with.
Save for your next bedroom renovation project.
