WHAT ARE WE CONSUMING?
Hey yâall. Quick check-in as we line things up for the season.
We all know the saying you are what you eat.
Flip it a little: what you eat, you are.
Put the food first.
Give it the weight it deserves.
If the act of consumption is broken, so is everything that comes after.
Soâwhat are you eating?
And more importantly, why?
Yeah, youâre hungry. But why those foods? Why feed a computer a virus and then act surprised when it slows down?
Maybe the slowdown is the lesson. Maybe fads stepping out of the spotlight so fiber can finally get some shine is actually a good thing. Just like societyâafter a whole global pandemic and somehow learning nothingâsometimes suffering is the teacher.
Youâve got 365 days this year to take things in. All kinds of things. Just remember: you also need water, fiber, minerals, vitamins, fungi, sleep, silence, a little plant knowledge, and a solid local farm you can brag about to your friends.
