We’re back at it! And this time… part 11 is coming after 12 because I apparently lost track 😅
If this is your first time seeing this series, here’s the context:
A couple of weeks ago, I spoke up about what’s happening in our communities and our country—and how heavy everything has been feeling.
I shared some of the hateful rhetoric that came my way. And while I believe it’s important not to ignore that reality, I also found myself asking: How can we REALLY make an impact?
Instead of spiraling in outrage and negativity, I wanted to channel that energy into something constructive. This series was the answer.
You started flooding my DMs and comments with businesses that make people feel safe, welcomed, and supported on Long Island. Spaces run by good humans. Places that show up for others.
