I had the incredible opportunity to compete at the Irish Professional Beauty Show in the RDS, where the competition theme was Whispers of the Forest. Inspired by Medusa, I created a full fantasy makeup look completely from scratch, designing and handcrafting every detail myself. From the makeup artistry to the headpiece and final styling, this project allowed me to push my creativity, attention to detail, and passion for transformative beauty artistry to the next level.
From concept to creation, every inch of this look came straight from my imagination to reality ✨
For the Irish Pro Hair & Beauty Makeup Competition, I challenged myself to go all in. I designed the concept, hand painted every detail on my body, and created the entire look from scratch the headpiece, the outfit, everything you see here is 100% my work in just 4 days as I only decided to enter 4 days before and I only realised I entered into the full body painting comp the day before so I had one day to make the full outfit! .
Most of the makeup I used were @plouise_makeup_academy@danessa_myricks@painted.co@premierfacepaintingireland and @mehronmakeup with @bperfectcosmetics & @kashbeauty shadows to set it.
This wasn’t just makeup… it was art, patience, and passion layered together. Hours of painting, building, and bringing a vision to life with my beautiful friend @amber_arkins111 and I’m so proud of how it turned out 🖤
What started as an idea became something I could literally wear. This is why I love what I do. 🎨
Things I would learn from for next year would be 100% use a spray gun next time as it saves so much time and energy and gives you a chance to add more details and make your look more intricate ✨
