Proud to share I’ve been asked, interviewed, and approved to serve on the Bowery Mission’s Associate Board to continue contributing to New York City on a greater level.
Since 2024, Sweetfeet’s No Cold Feet campaign has now donated more than 5,500 pairs of socks to our neighbors in need thru the Mission. One of the most requested items at shelters in America. This is a pillar we won’t compromise on. As so many brands and businesses talk about “community” today, we take pride in living it. Representing the city means taking care of it.
Something as small as a fresh pair of Sweetfeets can have a larger impact by changing the next step of someone who’s been down on their luck. It’s certainly done that for me. I’ll make it my goal to ensure countless more New Yorkers get to experience that.

I wanted to post this 4 different times this week but it’s hard to talk about these things…
The WHY is bigger than WHAT we’re doing and what we’re doing is huge.
This ain’t no poor me story I want to start with that.
This is an advocacy story that it’s all good to not be all good.
And if I can share this vulnerable part of my struggle maybe you too can open up to someone you trust and share yours. I’ve found that as soon as I vocalized what I was dealing with, I could finally tackle it. This message and campaign comes from a much different person than who I was 45 days ago.
I’ve realized by bottling up my pain I was really hurting myself and creating a lot of negative habits. Those compound.
If you’ve never been brought to your knees to pray to your god, whatever they look like, you’re blessed more than you know. But if you have, or you’re currently there, and you hear or read this message, I promise you tomorrow is a new day. If I can lace up, WHEN I lace up, and conquer this feat, you too can conquer your smallest of battles. Ours are all different, relationships, health, financials, family, whatever it is - you’re not in it alone.
Check on your homies, especially the ones who put it on the most.

Today just became a special day.
Such an insignificant thing really and something we logistically and easily could have done 2 years ago when we started @sweetfeet.nyc
However, today our first international order came in thru our site. From a person we don’t yet know, in a country we’ve yet to go, before we even announced the launch.
Got me thinking about our small apartment with 3 guys outta college on Clinton St burning the gymshark logo off of our shorts…
Something largely insignificant on the grand scheme of things, and in our grand plans for sure, but in start ups I’m learning everything and mostly anything that can go wrong will.
Celebrate the small wins and let em stack.
