Thrilled to announce that our Fragment Line for BOMMA has won the Archiproducts Design Awards 2025. We designed for BOMMA, Fragment Line transforms upcycled glass shards into seamless, glowing panels through our Fragmentglass technique. Each piece balances controlled imperfection with refined detail — illuminated by dual light circuits and adjustable color temperature. A celebration of craft, technology, and our shared vision with BOMMA. @bomma_cz

Designéři Michaela Tomišková a Jakub Janďourek (studio Dechem @dechemstudio ) navrhnou letošní podobu ocenění z materiálu, který nazvali Fragmentglass. Využili recyklovaného skla, aby vytvořili jedinečnou strukturu s velmi poetickým charakterem. Podoba ocenění Interiér roku je každý rok navrhována jiným designérem nebo studiem. Dechem tak přebírají štafetu po Rony Pleslovi, Václavu Mlynářovi, Jakubu Pollágovi, Borisu Klimkovi nebo Kateřině Handlové atd. ◾️#VasesByDesignBlok: With last year’s new release from @dechemstudio , a vase from the Burned Landscape collection, @artiumbykkcg , in collaboration with the Prague International Design Festival @designblok_prague , is launching a long-term curatorial project called Vases. Every first Wednesday of the month, a unique designer piece, a vase selected with an emphasis on originality and craftsmanship, will be presented at the KKCG headquarters in Prague’s Bořislavka. Gradually, a wide spectrum of creators will be introduced, ranging from the emerging generation of designers to established figures of the Czech design scene. The style of the installation will also play a crucial role in the project, with the opening floral arrangement created by jeweler @zdenek__vacek . THROUGH THE LENS Reduced to its essence, Sphaerae light becomes a study of light and presence. Through the lens of Vojtěch Veškrna, the object shifts beyond its physicality, revealing a quieter, more atmospheric dimension. @vojtechveskrna #dechemstudio

⚪ SPHAERAE LIGHT A single volume of hand-blown glass forms the Sphaerae light, where a softly illuminated sphere meets a more restrained cylindrical neck. Within the glass, a fine constellation of air bubbles emerges. Rather than a surface effect, they remain embedded in the mass, subtly catching and refracting light. Their presence adds a quiet vibration to the otherwise clear form, introducing depth without disrupting its overall clarity. Light passes through the structure with a gentle diffusion, activating the inner texture and revealing a quiet, atmospheric presence. ⚪ ECLIPSE WALL OBJECT The Eclipse Wall Objects explore the limitless varieties of glass, transforming them into captivating wall sculptures. Building on the principles of the Eclipse Light collection, this organic variation allows the glass to expand beyond defined geometry — softening into an irregular, almost fluid outline. Handcrafted glass sheets carry a rich internal texture, where air bubbles and subtle imperfections become part of the composition. Light diffuses through the material, revealing depth and quiet movement, as the surface shifts between opacity and transparency. Each piece can be individually varied — in shape, material, and surface — responding to the specific context of its setting, #dechemstudio

⭐ CZECH GRAND DESIGN '25 At this year’s Czech Grand Design ceremony, we had the honor of presenting the award for Graphic Designer of the Year, celebrating authors whose work expands the visual language of contemporary culture. Standing on the stage carried a quiet layer of memory — the screen behind us showing moments from past editions, when our own work was once recognized here. Congratulations to all this year’s winners and nominees. Inspiring to see the many voices shaping the Czech design scene today. ⚪ DISCORD OBJECT This solitary light object emerges from a fusion of fundamental geometric forms. A massive Fragmentglass slab is set into a sandstone block, refinedly illuminated to reveal its inner structure — a landscape where one can observe not only melted shards of color, but also tiny bubbles, the very origins of life on Earth. DECHEM Studio at Prague Castle President Petr Pavel welcomed the laureates of Czech Grand Design, an award presented for more than two decades by the Academy of Design of the Czech Republic. ⬜ SKY CITY VILLAS Sky City Villas @skycityvillas , a development project by @contidevelopment , was realized in collaboration with @plusonearch on the interior design. Within the spa area of a private villa in Záběhlice, the Fundo wall light introduces a subtle architectural layer. Light is directed along the wall, softening edges and deepening the spatial rhythm. Fully customizable in proportion and tone. The composition is further complemented by Penta light, the Tropos table lamp, Konfeta Tropos table lamp, and Magion table — extending a cohesive material dialogue throughout the interior and shaping the atmosphere of this private project. #dechemstudio #dechem

⬜DISCORD TABLE At the core of the Discord of Harmony collection lies the notion of a quiet metamorphosis of matter. The melted-glass surface and the sandstone forming the table’s base share the same origin, distinguished only by temperature — for at around 1400 °C, sand begins its slow alchemy into glass.
