🐦✨ Birdhouse Bonanza has officially taken over the shop ✨🔨
What started as a practical Intro to Woodshop class turned into a whole flock of handmade birdhouses out in the world 🌿
Now makers are leveling up — designing their own builds, experimenting with creative details, and apparently… becoming video editors too 🎬😂
This is our favorite kind of makerspace magic:
one project → new skills → bigger ideas → even more creativity.
We LOVE seeing where these builds are taking people 💛

This isn’t just another summer camp.
At Decatur Makers Robotics Camp, kids dive into hands-on engineering, LEGO robotics, coding, 3D printing, AI exploration, and creative problem-solving in a real makerspace environment.

Crystal, our intrepid Youth Programs Lead, was out in the world again last Saturday at Kids Day at CHaRM DeKalb.
Kids couldn’t get enough of the hands-on fun she brings—but this time there was a surprise collaborator… the Chick-fil-A cow 🐮✨
The cow joined in right alongside the kids (and a few goats too 🐐) to make bookmarks, explore, and take part in a full day of creative, sustainability-focused activities at CHaRM DeKalb.
