What happens when “living beliefs” are printed onto different materials? Embossed aluminium, latex, even taxidermy wings would I still believe them?
This idea was inspired by Katja Novitskova, an Estonian installation artist who sees digital images as living organisms. In her series Approximations, she prints online images of animals and nature to show how algorithms evolve based on what we’re biologically drawn to. I connected with how she treats images as alive — just like conspiracy images that spread, mutate, and infect online
