🆓 What freedom of movement when the authorities are threatening to close the border France - Switzerland and refuse to allow mobilizations?
🕊️ What peace when they are cutting public services and raise the taxes so they can invest more in armament in the name of protection?
🧑⚖️ What democracy when citizens are not allowed to criticize and oppose their gathering?

🔹 Formal colonialism was replaced by the financial colonialism
🔸 Austerity is being imposed in the GS by the financial institutions and the role of credit rating agencies in the debt system
🔹 The EU is blocking GS initiatived like the UN framework on debt convention

Africa Forward Summit (Africa-France Summit) was May11th-12th in Nairobi. 30 African heads of state gathered to discuss bilateral relations with France. Kenya signed at least 11 agreements & passed a law granting french troops impunity in Kenya! Ruto is a sellout to his people.

On May 11th 5 anti-imperialist students were arrested & May 12th, ~14 comrades arrested for gathering against this French & western centered Africa Forward Summit. Update: 9 comrades have been released but 5 students & 5 internationals are still detained.

Next Monday, May 18, the G7 finance ministers meet. Windfall taxes and ending subsidies for fossil fuels aren't on the agenda - but we can actually change that.
France holds the G7 presidency so the man of the hour will be @roland.lescure Luckily for us, he's very active online - so let's meet him there.
