Pack and ship day! Plus, some peonies. A big, heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in my Spring Art Auction! All paintings sold, plus all whale prints(doing some more of those.) I’m so excited for all these pieces to have new, loving homes. And there’s a little grief saying bye, and sending them out into the world. Paintings graduating, eldest kid about to graduate (!?😳)Woah. Happy Spring 🌸
Here ‘tis, Spring Art Auction!
First step, if you see something you like: DM me at debtalan (to check that the piece is still available.) I’ll let you know shipping costs (which are my best estimates based on experience.)
Then you’ll Venmo me @debtalan , leave me your address, and you’ll have some Art on its way to your home!
Hi All,
I'll be having another Instagram Art Sale, of paintings and prints, this Friday!
There will be paintings of widely varying sizes, and block prints of a wolf, and a humpback whale.
See ya Friday : ) Deb

9. My approach to touring: when not playing music, I’m doing this.
I’m on tour as a side gal w my friend @giamargaret ! East coast shows coming up—NYC, Maryland, Philly. Tour started, as so many do, in Cleveland. Photos:
1. Going into the venue, 1st show!
2. A truth. Thanks, Cleveland.
3. Ohmygod best tour snack discovery!! I’m in favor of dill pickle flavor this n that. Especially this.
4. The mirror was gone in the Chicago coffee shop bathroom, so some genius added this doodle to the wall.
A few more Oracle Deck paintings. And some more music from @giamargaret ❤️ Today I would like to drink all the coffee, all day long. And I would like to have the power to heal all the cracked minds creating violence and war in our human world. On a walk yesterday I saw a baby turtle go hurtling by in a rain-swollen creek. It felt like a small miracle. His moment of being tossed about, and that I saw him at all. I hope he landed in a calm sunny spot on a log downstream. I hope we all do, and soon.
Year 2 of an annual Easter Hymn? “In the Springtime,” using a melange of feels, and wanted to get at the weirdness in early Spring where things are starting to grow, and renew, and somehow the season change can still feel like a death and a letting go. I’m continuing to use this format like something between a song catalog and a journal. Thanks to you all for listening, reading, responding with shares about your own story. Feels very human, in a good way. 🙏🏻❤️
Revisited and reworked one from a few months ago—“Everything Changes.” I tried to make this video more visually dynamic (?) with a fun filter, but they all did a thing to my face that made me look like i had no pores, and was 25 years old again and that freaked me out. So. Here. Raw new song. Same ol’ me. 🌞🌈
