My relationship with the natural world will always serve as a place to remember that I can embrace my body and my desires for freedom (for myself and others) unabashedly and aggressively. This is for all of us who constantly need to remember that being pleasant isn’t what always keeps us safe or respected.
For the past year I’ve been making collages as an attempt to figure out my visual language, what I want to say + how I want to say it. A large white canvas is so daunting but laying these images and drawings down before I began felt like a priming and preparation of the board ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I do paint naked (yay home studio lol) and use my own body as reference which makes it very hard to take behind the scenes process pics lol but here are some tiny sneak peaks!!
