We’re super excited to present Deb Foam for Zeitgeist: Under the Sun 💜 Deb Foam is a Copenhagen-based electronic music producer whose work occupies the space between emotional catharsis and club intensity. Emerging from the city’s underground scene, she has developed a distinctive sonic identity defined by raw, high-impact soundscapes that fuse punk energy with heavy bass, breakbeat rhythms, distorted textures, and haunting vocal layers. Her music operates as both confrontation and release as a form of sonic therapy that channels grief, rage, and resilience into physical sound. Across acclaimed releases such as Cleanse (2019), Automata (2022), and Pestilence (2023), Deb Foam transforms inner turmoil into driving percussive force, using distortion and rhythmic dissonance as tools for emotional clarity. Recent singles, including DARE U and nowhere to go, further explore this tension, balancing melancholic undertones with euphoric bursts of energy. On stage, Deb Foam commands presence. Her appearances at Roskilde Festival, SPOT Festival, Strøm, and Copenhagen’s leading venues have earned her a reputation for creating spaces where intensity and vulnerability coexist. Rejecting the polished and predictable, her creative ethos is bold, abrasive, and deeply human. For Deb Foam, noise becomes language, distortion becomes intimacy, and sound becomes a way to articulate what words cannot.

Presenting @debfoam 💙 Q: what’s the difference between DJing and playing live for you? DJing feels like being in direct contact with the room. I can shift the energy in seconds, read the crowd, and intuitively guide the atmosphere in a very physical, impulsive way. Playing live is more exposed, since it’s my own music and voice, so there’s more emotional weight, but it also allows me to create a deeper, more personal and immersive experience. The difference is control versus surrender: DJing gives me constant control over the moment, while live performance asks me to let go and embrace vulnerability — yet both are ultimately about connection and making people feel something together. see you at @sidstemole may 13th to support and raise funds for seed distribution in Gaza🌱🌱

Shove It In Your Face (Gavnlig Re-Shove) is out now I met Fathma while we studied sound design in a tiny rural town, and was quickly enamoured. In stark contrast to her quiet demeanour, her productions are confrontationally jagged and bursting with pent up fury, the type of tunes that make you wanna throw stuff ‘Say no to projects’ is a 2026 goal of mine but when she asked if I wanted to remix the single for her upcoming debut album, it was an absolute no-brainer. The result is out today and feels like a violent struggle to not get dragged behind a galloping horse.
