CBL-ACP and Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce Sign MoU to Boost Trade and Investment   Addis Ababa – [03 June 2025] The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Belgium, Luxembourg, Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific CBL ACP and the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations (AACCSA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening collaboration and promoting trade and investment opportunities for mutual benefits.   The MoU was signed by two senior officials of the private sectors from both sides Mr. Thomas De Beule, Commercial Director of CBL ACP, and Mrs. Zahara Mohammed, President of AACCSA, marking a milestone in the commitment of two organizations to enhance economic, technical and business cooperation.   The agreement outlines a framework for enhanced economic cooperation between the two organizations, with the goal of supporting member companies and advancing sustainable development across key sectors including trade, industry, agriculture and technology.   This partnership marks a significant step forward in promoting closer economic ties between Ethiopia and the Benelux region. The Embassies of Ethiopia and Belgium in Brussels and Addis Ababa closely coordinated to facilitate this process paving the way for dynamic, long-term cooperation.

It was a privilege to engage with high-level representatives from the official delegation of the President of Nigeria at the Nigeria–UK Business Forum 🇳🇬🇬🇧 during this historic visit to the United Kingdom, held at the invitation of His Majesty King Charles III. The forum provided a unique platform to connect with key decision-makers, business leaders, and investors committed to strengthening economic ties between both countries. Hannatu Musa Musawa for a strategic meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Nigeria and the Belgium–Luxembourg region 🇳🇬🇧🇪🇱🇺. The meeting centered on advancing Nigeria’s Vision 2030 agenda, particularly the positioning of Nigeria as a leading tourism and cultural destination. Discussions explored how Belgium and Luxembourg can serve as strategic gateways for promoting Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, creative industries, and tourism investment opportunities to a broader European audience. We examined opportunities for structured collaboration in tourism promotion, cultural exchange, and private sector engagement. Particular emphasis was placed on leveraging the Nigeria Belgium Luxembourg Business Forum 28-30 October 2026 in Brussels as a high-level platform to showcase Nigeria’s creative economy and attract European partners.
