a decade in & what a whirlwind year it’s been. am I from here now?!? 🤔 anyway here’s 10 takeaways for year 10 & a bunch of random pictures.
1. the beauty of grace is that it makes life not fair. learning to let the people grow & change without judging.
2. don’t allow someone, without a mere spark, try & put your fire out. burn big & burn bright because happiness looks crazy to people who are sad.
3. if you never ask, the answer is always no. advocate for yourself & always negotiate.
4. give credit when credit is due.
5. while solitude might fit me like a glove, I’m nothing without my community.
6. I don’t match energy, I set the standard. I don’t meet mediocre with mediocre when I’m called to be generous.
7. time waits for no one. you don’t have forever to say what you have to say. no one is a mind reader, you gotta be vocal.
8. some people will hold you hostage to where they met you, let them. your growth stops for no one.
9. there’s only so much you can do for somebody before you have to let them figure it out for themselves.
10. when you know your worth, you attract those that appreciate your value.
