I love this shot, taken by one of my best mates @tombingphoto 5 years ago. I’d just started building BMX frames; riding a frame I’d built, on jumps my friends and I built was a surreal and great feeling. It was like after 30 years of riding everything aligned.
It’s wild to think i’ve built almost 100 frames now with my bare hands on my bench on a farm in Northumberland. Thank you BMX and the real ones 👊

Ayton quarry early 2000’s we watched videos we used those videos as inspiration to build not realising everything looked way bigger on film our jumps turned out Big... it wasn’t a bad thing we just had to go faster AQL forever 🤘🏼
