The Deal by @ellekennedyauthor šŸ¤ (Off campus Series Book 1) What better day to post my review of this masterpiece than the day its movie adaptation premieres? 🄹 To begin with, this was one of those books that completely caught me off guard. The plot was simple, but it managed to take over both my heart and my mind — and, that’s always the sign of a memorable read for me. šŸ’• I loved Garrett and Hannah. Their chemistry practically leapt off the pages, even in the moments filled with teasing, arguments, and playful banter. What I loved most was how naturally their relationship developed. They became friends first, slowly learning each other, understanding each other… and then came that beautiful, unbearable awareness that turned into one of the most satisfying slow burns ever. 🫠 This book made me swoon one minute, laugh out loud the next, and then suddenly hit me right in the chest. It had the perfect balance of humor, romance, entertainment, tension, and heart. 🄰 I genuinely don’t know what more I can say that hasn’t already been said about this beloved book, so I’ll leave this quote here from the book, because it perfectly captures how this book felt to me: šŸ’Œ ā€œTiny butterflies of happiness take flight in my stomach and dance around my heart.ā€ . . . #books #thedeal #romance #ellekennedy #love (romance books, slow burn romance, marriage of convenience, soft romance, comfort read, book review, honest review, bookstagram, reader thoughts, bookish content, strong female lead, independent heroine, soft male lead, green flag energy, romcom books, feel good reads, light reads, easy reads, cozy books, character driven, relationship growth, emotional reads, mature romance, currently reading, recent reads, book recommendations, what to read next, book lovers, reader community, reading life, cozy vibes, book aesthetic)

Almond by @sohnwonpyung ✨ It’s about a little boy who can’t really understand or express emotions because of a medical condition, and how he just… figures life out on his own. It’s such a beautiful and emotional read. Like, it’s soft and heartwarming, but also lowkey cruel and harsh at times. There’s something so innocent about it that just hit me harder. It’s a short book, but very heavily themed. Definitely a must read. I loved it. šŸ’ž #almond #sohnwonpyung #alexithymia #youngadult #contemporaryfiction

As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow by @thelemonwitch_ is a love story—but one set against the devastating backdrop of war-torn Syria, which gives it a completely different depth. It’s also a work of political fiction, and honestly, I didn’t even know if it was based on real events or not—but that didn’t matter. I found myself praying for the characters as if they were real, desperately wanting them to have a happy ending, because anything less felt like it would completely break me. I was so emotionally invested that I couldn’t put the book down. Every page pulled me deeper into their world—the fear, the hope, the love—all of it felt so real. It’s emotional and beautiful. The language is easy, but the emotions it carries are anything but. I got deeply attached to the characters, and I kept reading almost anxiously, just to know what fate had in store for them. I don’t even have enough words to fully describe how this book made me feel, but I know this: it’s one of the saddest yet most heart-touching books I’ve ever read. I’d genuinely urge everyone to read this, if you haven't already. šŸ’› #aslongasthelemontreesgrow #politicalfiction #syria #lovestory #zoulfakatouh

The Nightingale by @kristinhannahauthor šŸ’ Genre: Historical fiction I’m stunned, amazed, and absolutely heartbroken by this beautiful masterpiece. It made me feel everything. I was so deeply engrossed in it that the world around me simply disappeared for a while. It's about two sisters during the time of World War — women who carried courage, sacrifice, grief, and resilience in ways history so often overlooks. While the world believed women stood on the sidelines, this book reveals how deeply they shaped survival, hope, and humanity itself during the war. It’s intense and intimate at the same time — filled with ache, love, loss, and warmth. . #historicalfiction #books #thenightingale #kristinhannah #politicalfiction . . One true loves by @tjenkinsreid šŸ¤šŸ¤šŸ¤ This book felt like warmth, love and far deeper than I expected. It's cozy, comforting and beautiful. A different kind of story but something that's going to stay with me for a really long time. It's a love triangle and both the men are so loving. It shows the complexities of life and relationships. It also addresses how sibling relationships grow, heal and mature with time. This book is definitely an art and I urge you to pick this one. The plot revolves around a woman who has finally decided to move on from her past and get re-married. But, her husband reappears while she's already engaged to another man. And, oh my god, the men!! 🫠🫠🫠 . #books #romance #reader #love #onetrueloves . King of Gluttony by @authoranahuang (Kings of sin Book 6) šŸ’ŒšŸ“šŸ«šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ³ ONE OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED AND THE BEST OF THE SERIES! The back-and-forth between them was golden—especially Maya, the sassy FMC. But Sebastian..Oh my heart 🫠 The way this man kept his guard up for so long and then slowly, gradually let it down... šŸ˜ā¤ļøā€šŸ©¹ Beyond the romance, I loved seeing Sebastian’s other side—the one that’s messy, vulnerable, and so far from the ā€œperfect golden boyā€ image. It honestly made me fall for him even more. WHAT. A. MAN. šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø He claims he can’t stand her, but then goes out of his way to make her feel better??? Hello, Sir??? He knows everything about her, whispers in French—yeah, I’m done for 🫠 And Maya... I adored her. She’s headstrong, independent, a perfectionist, and refuses to dim her light for anyone—yet deep down, she believes she might be ā€œtoo muchā€ and destined to be alone 🄺 That hurt. I just wanted to hug her. And the irony? The only person she feels truly comfortable with… is her rival. *SCREAMING* They complete each other in the best way, and it made the whole story so addictive. Tropes: šŸ’ƒšŸ»Marketing executive Desi FMC šŸ‘ØšŸ»ā€šŸ³ French chef MMC šŸ’Œ Childhood rivals Ɨ his secret obsession šŸ’Œ Banter & tension šŸ¤ŒšŸ» šŸ’Œ Golden boy with baggage šŸ’Œ Forced proximity šŸ’Œ Yearning šŸ’Œ He falls first This book kept me on edge waiting for that one moment—and when it finally tips… OH. MY. GOD. šŸ”„ And the moment I realised why the cover looks the way it does…that hit DIFFERENT. šŸ’Œ If you love tension, YEARNING—this delivers. Years of pining, insane chemistry, and a rivalry that adds the perfect edge to everything. The banter, the competitive energy, the late nights, the slow unraveling… it’s all chef’s kiss. I was completely obsessed with Maya and Sebastian—they are definitely my favourites in the series. I could not get enough of them. If the book had 1000 more pages, I'd gladly devour them all. šŸ“šŸ« Sebastian Laurent...he’s ruined me for everyone else. šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø #kingofgluttony #anahuang #kingsofsinseries #romance #billionaireromance

King of Envy by @authoranahuang (Kings of Sin Book 5)✨✨ I think this has to be one of the most intense Kings of Sin books. Oh Vuk… the man you are. šŸ’Œ I genuinely don’t have enough words to describe the storm of emotions this story pulled out of me. One moment I was giggling, the next I was completely serious. There was tension, envy, lust, violence, angst, humor—everything. It was such an emotional rollercoaster.✨✨ I absolutely loved Ayana. She felt so real—selfless, relatable, and someone who wanted to build something for herself. At the same time, she had responsibilities and obligations weighing her down. That balance between independence and duty made her even more compelling.šŸ¤ And then there’s him… Vuk. Morally grey? Yes. A troubled past? Definitely. But the gestures he made, the intentions behind his actions, the way he loved her—the obsession, the intensity… I was completely swooned. Nothing else mattered. Everything and everyone took a backseat because he owned the book from beginning to end. šŸ˜šŸ«  He was the center, the focus, the moment—from the very first page to the last.😻😻 And when we finally got his POV... I devoured it. Also, there's Shadow... Now I genuinely want to reread the book already—that’s how good it was. Also… someone please tell me—where are men like him being made? 😭 #kingsofsinseries #kingofenvy #anahuang #romance #billionaireromancebooks

The Perfect Marriage by @jenevaroseauthor — a fast-paced murder mystery that genuinely made me feel dumb by the end (in the best way). The clues were right in front of me the whole time, yet I still couldn’t piece it together. It revolves around the murder of a mistress, and the twists were insane. The Perfect Divorce by @jenevaroseauthor — the second part of the series. It adds so much perspective to everything that happened before. And once again, I’m amazed… and slightly offended by my own inability to guess the truth. If you enjoy fast-paced thrillers by Freida McFadden, you’ll definitely love what Jeneva Rose brings to the table. šŸ˜‹āœØ #jenevarose #psychologicalthriller #murdermystery #theperfectmarriage #theperfectdivorce

The Fake Out by @stephaniearcherauthor šŸ’Œ (Vancouver Storm Novel 2) emotionally intelligent characters who grow individually and bring out the best in each other—while still being beautifully imperfect? check. āœ… laugh-out-loud, witty banter that had me giggling like an idiot and kicking my feet? check. āœ… that slow, delicious build-up of chemistry that keeps you hooked, grinning, and flipping pages just to get them together already? check. āœ… and a love that’s soft, sweet, a little obsessive, and completely, utterly irresistible? check.āœ… A perfect giddy romance šŸ˜ #vancouverstormseries #stephaniearcher #thefakeout #romance #sportsromance
