The rebrand this company has deserved for a long time. Florals fell into my lap by accident and it’s been such a beautiful journey to watch unfold. Freshman year of high school, I took a floral design class through my school’s Ag department, which sparked a small interest in botanicals and flowers of all kinds. Ten years later, it’s come full circle, and I’m finally ready to give this the proper time, attention, and energy.
Dear Cleo, is named after my sweet baby in heaven who, although didn’t have much time on earth, lived the most perfect, purpose-filled life. Cleo came into this world with vibrancy and offered a glimpse into the beauty this life has to offer- just like a flower 🌷

Hey there 👋🏼 and happy New Year.
I’m Katelyn, the face behind Dear Cleo, Florals. If you’re new here, welcome!
A few fun facts about me:
1. This is my side hustle. Mon-Thurs I’m an interior designer and drafting artist, while Fri-Sun I work with florals.
2. This page started as a houseplant company by a friend; I took it over, sold foliage for years, and eventually made the switch to florals.
3. My husband and I got married in June of 2021 where I did wedding florals for the very first time.
4. I’m a mama to a spunky 19mo girl, you can find her dragging stems up and down the halls on design days.
5. I worked in coffee for years but I’m surprisingly not a caffeine gal (sometimes I wish I was).
6. I love a camping adventure.. desert, beach, mountains, i’m here for it all.
7. I’ve lived in North County San Diego my entire life, I love it here, and I could never leave.
8. Dear Cleo, is named after our baby in heaven, a reminder of life’s beauty, even in the briefest moments. Just like a flower 🌷
