Vintage Slingerland Cocktail Setup
The 1950–60s 24x14” vertical kick + tight snare gives it this super punchy, funky feel you don’t get from a standard kit. The little stack is made from a 9” FX Oriental Trash Splash over an 8” FX Oriental China Trash.
I’m mic’ing the whole thing with a Yamaha EAD10 using a @deafanddrum attachment.

As you know I just released a clip for the DSU50 module which works just like my EAD10 clip. BUT someone asked if I had a side-mount option for when the stand had to be off to the side. Having sold several hundred of the EAD10 clips it’s never come up BUT the question made a lot of sense. So with that: what are your thoughts on this? I’ll make a handful and put em on the store as an option for those who need it. As you can see this works for the EAD10 even though it’s designed for the DSU50 so you won’t need two different versions. #deafanddrum
