Through sponsorship forms and online donations on their JustGiving page, the Cubs raised an incredible £1,620 to support Deaf Action’s work with deaf people across Scotland.
Well done to all our BSL cub supporters! 👏
“If you could invent one piece of technology for deaf people, what would it be?” 🤔
That was one of the questions explored by our CEO, Philip Gerrard, during his recent appearance on @bbcseehear alongside his son, Billy-Jack.
The programme looked at how technology is transforming life for deaf people, from AI and communication tools to new ways of connecting, working and living in a digital world 👨💻
Philip and Billy-Jack discussed the opportunities emerging technologies can bring for deaf communities, as well as looking at Billy-Jack's experiences with AI and as a deaf coder.
You can watch the full episode on the BBC iPlayer 😀

🔎 Final selection: World Deaf Golf Federation Flag
David chose the flag from the World Deaf Golf Federation because he has strong memories of his time organising the international deaf golf competition in 2010.
