Meet Abi-Gail the amazing Queensland based, Juru and Toolooa woman behind the design of the national team uniform for our climbers competing in international competitions.
About the design: The lines and dots within the Sport Climbing Australia logo follow the lines of a fingerprint, representative of climbers hands, together with First Nations people's connection to the land, the fingerprint also loosely
shows the channels of the land and waterways within Australia.
Abi-Gail has started an Instagram page to promote representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander rock climbers within climbing communities and aims of making gyms more accessible.

This will be our first ride of the new year! 🥳🚲
We’re going to be heading to Liffey Falls once again however we’re going to take a slightly different approach going a bit further north down through Carrick. We’ll be leaving from Launny this time to try make it as approachable as possible for first timers.
As always it’s a slow pace, zero drop and zero tolerance for dickhead behaviour on a day of mourning.
- We are planning to leave at 9:30am at Princes Square 🤟🏾

We’re throwing together an overnighter bike packing trip from Longford to Liffey falls on Tilapangka Country on the 13th-14th of December next month 🥳 This is an open invite to my Launny/Tassie friends 🫶🏽 Generously sponsored by @mattagonia.co
Just a few notes:
- We’ll be meeting at Village Green on Wellington street in Longford for a 9:30am departure
- Folks who wanna ride from Launny are welcome to leave in a group from Coronation Park at 7:30am, Tommy (@3_spheres_ ) will be leading this ride
- This is a self-supported/unsanctioned trip so please bring all your camping and biking supplies of your own
- Make sure to pack a pair of swimmers
- We’re so excited to bring together a community of bike minded people
