I have never run a marathon, but then thought it would be a good idea to do an ultra with my dad and brothers - and boy, I was right.
Not enough training resulted in a humbling, but perspective shifting experience. Commit to hard things before you’re ready, and follow through on doing it. That’s the way the underdog will eventually win.

“What we’re preaching here is that it doesn’t matter where you finish on the leaderboard, what matters to us is that you did your best so if we’re not out here putting ourselves to the test, then we can’t expect others to do the same and to buy in to what we’re trying to build here.” — @thelucaslogs
“This weekend was the culmination of consistency meeting opportunity. I signed up for this race about a week ago when the opportunity presented itself and if I wasn’t trained and ready, it would’ve been a wasted opportunity. I’m grateful for this effort and for a body that can be pushed.” - @samokunola
