After a bit of a false alarm last month I can now confirm that we will be hosting a very special screening of the latest episode of Pointless at the Donk tomorrow, Tuesday 12th.....
Remember when Ed went away midweek for a couple of days? And we also didn't see Deepak in the bar for a bit.... Well, now you know where they were!!!!!
We'll kick things off at 4pm by showing a repeat of Doug's episode from 13 years ago (he's aged fantastically, wouldn't you agree), before switching to the live stream of Ed and Deepak's episode!
Come one, come all, have a few bevvies, test your knowledge against theirs and find out how they got on!

Thank you all for your love and support over the years, it's aged us terribly but we bloody love it and couldn't do it without you!
Unfortunately the sun didn't fancy celebrating with us and it's buggered off but if you fancy coming down over the next few days and raising a glass with us it'd be great to see as many you legends as possible!

You may remember the old whisky tastings Ed and Christy used to run (Doug did one too actually, he'd like to point that out), we've steered clear of it at the Donk so far for various reasons but you know what....it's our 7th birthday coming up and it's about time we did something special!
Sunday 12th April, 7pm start. Tickets are extremely limited due to the size and shape of the bloody building but we'll make it work. £40 gets you 5 whiskies and canapés. DM here or email [email protected] to book and we'll be in touch.

6 years (and one week-ish) ago we had a very special tap takeover from one of our favourite breweries of all time. This year it's their 11th anniversary, next month it'll be our 7th. The stars have aligned close enough for us to know we had to run it back!
From our first ever drop of Soup, to pouring porrón out of a second storey window, 5.5% kegged ESB's that would make your granda furious and now this very special line up. Super happy to have been a small part of their journey, and for what they've contributed to ours.
One keg of each, on from 3pm Friday till they're gone.

I traipsed through the wind and rain yesterday to fetch some glorious cheeseboards from @porterbrookdeli (no need to thank me, it's my job innit). Kept the air miles low on this one with cheeses from Lincolnshire, Northumberland, Thirsk and Otley with the delivery powered by my own legs and @forgeroasters
I thoroughly recommend you treat yourselves to a board and maybe some more picky bits too on this lovely Saturday afternoon!
