Een rauwe, energieke botsing tussen twee werelden: de eclectische synth-punk van FRANKIE TEARDROP (NL) met de ongefilterde intensiteit van Mutha Flac (SR). Op zaterdag 14 februari presenteert DE FLUX een unieke muzikale samenwerking tussen twee autodidacte krachten, die over continenten heen samenkomen om de zaal af te breken en underground scenes te verbinden. Deze double-headline tour bundelt satirische Zaanse synth-chaos met tropische Surinaamse punk, een cross-culturele uitwisseling van noise, ironie en liefde voor muziek.

A high-energy double bill connecting scenes and geographies, following the world premiere of Tra Fasi at IFFR 2026 and the release of FRANKIE TEARDROP’s EP Boxcutter.
Tra Fasi, directed by Charity Charly, is the first feature documentary on Suriname’s underground punk and hardcore scene. Set in Paramaribo, it follows frontman Shavero Ferrier and a close-knit DIY community building punk from scratch without venues, labels, or institutional support. Premiering on January 30, 2026 at IFFR, the film shows punk as resistance, survival, and self-expression.
This event is not a film screening, but a live showcase.
FRANKIE TEARDROP (🇳🇱) brings sharp, satirical synth-punk, while Mutha Flac (🇸🇷) delivers raw punk straight from Paramaribo. Together, they collide Dutch electronic noise with Surinamese punk urgency, united by a fierce DIY ethos.
