Lately, it feels like I’m constantly shifting between projects, expectations, and everything I want to become. There’s progress, but also pressure. I’ve been moving, though not always forward. This track caught me off guard, or rather, its intro did, because I rarely stand still long enough to reflect on my choices. The song is "BLOOM" by Doechii, and it really encapsulates how I’ve been feeling lately. Life is good, it’s just a lot sometimes and that's a-okay! :^)
Bevor ihr an Wettbewerben teilnehmt, überlegt euch gut, mit wem ihr euch einlasst. Ich habe den „Newbie Design Award“ gewonnen – doch statt eines fair ausgezahlten Preisgelds gab es monatelanges Warten, Ausreden und bis heute nur einen Bruchteil der versprochenen Summe.
Ich hoffe, dass sich @b2bdesign2017 öffentlich entschuldigt und Verantwortung übernimmt. Dieser Post soll als Warnung dienen und stellt meine subjektive Meinung dar.

A visual ode to the kaleidoscope of moments that graced my days in San Francisco this past summer. This is pretty much just a collection of impressions and small details about daily life I found intriguing and there’s still a ton of footage untouched. Also, Instagram doesn’t allow me to post the full video so this is just part one of two.
All of this was shot on a Nikon D7200, which was a total nightmare but I tried to make the best of it. Paradoxically, it was precisely this fact, this technical limitation, that facilitated so much joy in capturing these numerous clips. When you have an amazing camera and virtually endless cinematic resources, there’s an automatic expectation that something exceptional must result. This way, I could experiment, stumble, and yet not feel disheartened. In a certain sense, the poor technology liberated me. Yeah. But enough of me yapping.
This was the first time I ever really did a video like this and I know I‘m just at the beginning of my learning curve. :)
