As treasurer you will be responsible for the budget at the start of the year and managing finances throughout the year!

This role involves getting sponsorships from various brands and organisations, primarily for big events like our annual Fashion Show and Look Magazine!
🌀Public relations officer🌀
This job involves running the societies social media accounts. You will be in charge of making creative TikToks, Instagram captions and promoting events!
🌀Brand design officer🌀
You will be in charge of the graphics for the year regarding all social media and prints! This involves creating promotion for all our events and Instagram posts! This is a chance to get creative and put your own stamp on next year’s brand!!
🌀PYD Coordinator🌀
As coordinator you are in charge of organising the Project Young Designer award which is the half-time competition at our annual Fashion Show! This is a great experience for anyone interested in fashion events and working with emerging designers!
🌀The Look Magazine Editors🌀
This role involves two people who we ask to run as a team! The two of you will be in charge of organising The Look Magazine, which involves coming up with a new theme and organising all of the visual and written aspects of the project!
🌀The Look Online Editor🌀
This role involves running the online version of The Look Magazine. You will be reading and editing articles and promoting the wonderful voices in our society!!
🌀Secretary🌀
As secretary you will be taking the minutes in every committee meeting and writing the weekly newsletters that are sent out to our members!
🌀Events Officers🌀
We will be electing two events officers who will be in charge of running all of the events throughout the year! It is a busy job and involves coming up with creative new ideas for this society and running fun events all year round!

We are so proud to announce our fabulous panel who will be judging the Project Young Designer competition at this year’s DCU Fashion Show! 🎊 Come and see them choose the next PYD winner on Thursday the 12th of March 🏆
✨ Rachel Maguire is an amazing Irish fashion designer and founder of the brand Rashhiid. Her beautiful statement pieces and colourful faux-fur hats have been seen on celebrities like Doja Cat, Addison Rae and Ariana Grande. Rashhiid is all about self-expression through creation and design which brings her pieces to life✨
✨ Mihai Mar is a Dublin-based designer and creative director of Mar Knitwear. Mar knitwear is an incredible independant queer-led label which creates bold, story-driven knitwear that blends traditional knitting techniques with contemporary, gender-fluid design and sustainable materials. Mihai is the co-founder of Dublin Independent Fashion Week and his pieces can be seen in many popular tv shows and films such as Wednesday! ✨Claire Garvey is an award-winning Irish couture designer known for her bold, theatrical, and sustainable fashion. She has created beautiful bespoke, hand-crafted garments for the Oscars, the Emmys, the X-Factor, Cannes Film Festival and specialises in one-off outfits for musicians and celebrities!! ✨
