There. I said it. AI isn’t the problem. Weak pipelines are. This Founder film project (selective shots montages) was done at @kulfi.collective with a simple limbo shoot with @gvkjr for @myequal.ai in july 2025. This was pre–Nano Banana Pro. We worked with Nano Banana 🍌 (the first version) and Seedream 4 for images, enchancor for realism, mix of Kling 2.1, Runway Act 2 and Veo 3 for video generations. The results were fast, but not production-ready. So we routed around the gaps. A VFX artist was hired and worked his magic around the face and composited it back onto the generated footage. Hybrid Pipeline we went with : screengrab from offline -> input as reference image in NB (change background) -> fix the face in Adobe PS (highest quality) -> upres/facial details in enhancor -> generate video output via runway act2/kling/veo -> composite the face back again from offline -> add motion graphics -> tweak music & sound -> color correct the entire film. If you want quality today, you don’t wait for perfect tools. You build hybrid pipelines and design around limitations. That’s the real advantage right now.
