🎓 Five Key Takeaways from our DClinPsy Interviews Event 2026
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this year – it was such a supportive, thoughtful space and we loved seeing so many future clinical psychologists in one place 💬✨
Today marks the start of the DClinPsy interview season.
For those attending interviews over the coming months we’re wishing you the very best of luck. This is an opportunity to bring your experiences, reflections and values.
At the same time, we want to acknowledge that for many this period can be difficult, particularly if you weren’t shortlisted this year. The process is highly competitive and not being invited to interview is not a reflection of your worth or potential.
Wherever you are in the process, we recognise the effort, resilience and commitment it takes to pursue clinical psychology training.

📘 Stories from the DClinPsy Journey
Are you an applicant, trainee, or qualified clinical psychologist?
If you’ve been part of the DClinPsy pathway, we’d love to hear your story.
This questionnaire invites you to share experiences of the applications, interviews, and training — from challenges and support, identity, potential barriers, and what’s helped things along the way.
Responses will be anonymised and some quotation extracts may be used within a magazine-style article for The Psychologist that centres the voices of the community.
