Removed a completely rotten external door lining and prepped the opening by cleaning and repairing the existing blockwork. Installed a brand new external door lining, then re-fitted the original door—precision trimming 10mm for a perfect fit. Reinstalled the mortise lock, latch, and additional security locks, then fully sealed with silicone for a weatherproof, long-lasting finish.

Full bedroom transformation completed ✔️
We removed the old panelling and carpet, taking the room back to a clean base before installing modern wall panelling using 85mm MDF strips, finished with a simple 70mm top rail for a clean, minimal look as requested by the customer.
To finish it off, we installed laminate herringbone flooring to elevate the space and tie everything together.

Precision is everything when it comes to proper shaker style doors đź‘Ś
There’s a right way and a rushed way — and I’ll always choose the right way. ✅
For these wardrobe doors I’m using a rebate bit on my DeWalt router to create clean, consistent recesses, making sure every line is sharp and perfectly uniform. No gaps. No uneven joints. Just crisp definition.
All cuts are done with the DeWalt plunge saw to guarantee dead-straight edges and accuracy across every panel. That’s what gives shaker doors that clean, professional look.
The inner 9mm MDF panels are then fixed securely using mitre glue for a solid, tight bond — keeping everything flush, stable and built to last.
It’s all in the detail 👌
This is how you get that premium finish before paint even touches it.
Can’t wait to see these once they’re sprayed and fully decorated — the end result is going to look unreal.
