There’s nothing quite like an evening @funke_la . From the warm glow of the lighting, to the chrome and glass clad pasta lab and of course the priceless art collection. I sometimes feel like we can do a game with all the little details, find the….. . . Photo by @bshigeta Design by @dbarchitecture Built by @intensiondesign . #hospitalitydesign #funke #interiordesign

Recently completed Spanish renovation for my sister @fond.losangeles . What makes architecture and design meaningful to me? It’s the creation of environments that I believe contribute positively to our wellbeing. The space that we occupy and surrounds us has immense impacts on our daily life, bringing order, soft light and a warm ambience without a doubt makes your daily better. Anyway, this was a fun project. . . . #design #architecture #rennovation #interiordesign

I was recently asked in an interview: what makes me proud? Well, this building is definitely a moment of pride. Having basically moved to Beverly Hills as a young kid, I never felt like I fit in. I was an outsider from a remote country. I also remember seeing what this building had looked like for decades. Well, decades later we were hired to renovate the building. First steps was doing a lot of research. Luckily, the Beverly Hills library is a great resource. I discovered some photos of what the building looked like in its Art Deco glory. And, interestingly enough, the corner used to be a busy diner! I did take some artistic liberty, the spire was added as were the sweeping awnings. Large storefronts with deep recesses were also a major part of the renovation. It just makes me so full of pride to be able to touch the urban fabric of this city. I often see tourists walk by and take photos, or locals casually pass. It’s an unreal feeling for the seven year old kid that came to America with big eyes and aspirations. . . #pride #aspirations #design #architecture

Architecture isn’t just about how a home looks — it’s about how it makes you feel. On this episode of Estate Elegance, Dan Brunn takes us inside the iconic Bridge House, a 20-foot-wide, 210-foot-long masterpiece designed to create spatial drama while remaining warm and deeply livable. From a kitchen that feels more like a library than a laboratory, to intentional lighting, acoustics, and a home that captures both the first light of day and the last sunset — every detail is deliberate. Because when architecture is done right, it elevates the way you live. 🏛️✨

Is architecture art? Well, to me it is, or really can be. Is it just a large sculpture of shapes? A little bit. But more than that. A sculpture is something you enjoy by looking at it, and maybe walk around it. Architecture and interior design is the opposite. It’s a sculpture that you inhabit and it envelopes you. It can be so powerful in setting a mood. I’ve said it before: architecture is a vessel of light. When done properly, it’s an expression of nature. . . . #architecture #light #nature #design #modernism

A year in review….looking back at 2025. Besides all the wonderful travel and tons of concerts, some of the highlights of the year (in no particular order). Meeting @paulmccartney , something I never could have ever imagined. No matter what, I look at myself as a boy from a suburb of Tel Aviv, growing up in the 80s. I couldn’t imagine I would get to ever shake his hand and share some laughs. I also got to talk to him about @funke_la . Later in the year, I also saw him in concert. Another moment was traveling to the UK to see @oasis at Wembley Stadium. Another “never would have thought” moment. They got back together, insane. Saw them in London and Los Angeles. Got to share those moments with my best friends. This year was all about spending time with friends, traveling and eating (maybe too much). Though to be frank, we started the year off with the devastation of the LA Fires, I was invited by @harveylevin to @tmz_tv to discuss and shed some light on what’s really happening. Later on, I was introduced to @gavinnewsom . Happy to say we’re working with him and his team directly for some strategic solutions. Another, wild moment that I never could have imagined…. This year was also met with some big decisions for my almost twenty year old “baby” @dbarchitecture . One of the best decisions made was appointing @juliaok to the position of Studio Director. We’ve only flourished, and I am so enthusiastic of what’s happening in 2026. On a professional level, you will see a couple ground up houses completed, a mid-century modern house renovation (one of our most ambitious), a glass pavilion inspired by Philip Johnson, a ground breaking “coffee shop” and we are also redoing some interiors at @bridgehousela . . Hosting a few events this year, bringing more friends and guests to the house, which inspired me to get back to it in 2026. Looks for dinner parties, like I used to host. . All the collaborations, and hope to make new connections in 2026. . I am most grateful to my friends and family that support my passions. I’ve made some clear intentions for 2026, so here we go….. Work hard, play hard, rinse and repeat. #yearinreview #happynewyear #2025
