I’ve been in full dad mode for the last few months, but while I’ve been away I’ve had some fun projects get released! Over the last year and a half, I’ve been very fortunate to compose the soundtracks for multiple children’s books with @scholastic . It’s been a blast creating all this music! This is your sign if you want something different and funky for maternity photos- DO IT. 🪩🕺🏻🎶 Music is deeply embedded into our lives - it’s how we met, it’s @dbeltwrites career and passion, it’s pretty much always on in the background at our home, and it’s our favorite activity. I had this vision of us in a record store with some funky outfits and a disco ball and wasn’t sure how to make it happen. Sure enough.. our amazing friends and family immediately jumped in to help us bring this vision to life. @zennahodge said “I got you” and not only did she cut Dustin’s hair, do full glam hair and makeup on me, but she also shot and edited the photos. Dustin’s mom Carol sewed feathers to my pant suit outfit. @chandlerisaac found the record store and @andypagana helped us pitch this concept to the owner to take pics there (Chris - you are amazing - thank you again!!) @therecordparlour is a Hollywood staple. 🎶 it’s an incredible record store in the front, with a speakeasy arcade (and live music!) in the back. It’s a must visit if you are in LA!
