Our studio is too in love with this project, we had to share it again. Located on Niagara Escarpment and Conservation regulated land - this absolute one of a kind design sits on 56 acres where the deer, fox, turtles, birds, and insects all thrive and roam free ...
The home itself ::: 3500 sq ft of meticulously detailed and executed space. Featuring 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms along with a kids lounge and rooftop patio with hot tub upstairs. The main floor, where the real party's start :: the entry, the wine room, mudroom, open plan living space and killer flow out the back covered patio and pool space.

One of my favourite photos of the stair showing the careful application of the veneer across the curvature. The veneer was tapered on site to bookmatch and follow the curve as the stair opened as it ascended. A complex installation beautifully executed.

The dining room, with expansive 20 foot long windows on both sides, connects the living room and the kitchen. The original design intent was to make a dining space that was part of the circulation but still very special, given how little the purpose built dining room of the original house was used. By making a space that was 'in the trees' between two curated landscapes, the space has become a favourite for dining and sitting with family. It is used every day.
