Zimone thrives where high-octane funky disco meets the raw and dirty house grooves. He bridges the gap between major techno lineups and house-focused club nights, consistently prioritizing a driving, upbeat energy over mellow backgrounds. This relentless focus on the groove forms the core of his ‘Groove Gourmet’ parties, where the mission is simple: keep the floor moving with a thick, funk-driven pulse. As a dedicated explorer of house, soul, and jazz, his productions trade smooth textures for a more rugged, dancefloor-ready blend of disco rhythms and raw groove-heavy basslines. Every track is built around a distinct touch of funk, designed to translate his high-energy club presence into a gritty, compelling studio sound. Zimone has been part of the legendary Metropolis Booking for the past decade, but also a core member of Ritual Gatherings. While frequently bringing his distinct sound to notable underground club spaces in Sofia, his experience includes a significant tenure as program director at Sofia’s Carrusel Club and Beach Bar, residencies at Cubo, TellMe & Soda, and appearances at several major Bulgarian festivals. Zimone has shared the stage with an array of international DJs, including esteemed names like Carl Cox, Gorgon City, John Digweed, Sandy Rivera, Sam Divine, Mousse T, Kraak & Smaak, Gene Farris, Ninetoes, Ferreck Dawn, Cassy, Jamie 3:26, Guts, Crazy P, Argy & Davide Squillace. He is also a co-founder of the collaborative studio space Octave Collective. Beyond his musical projects, he contributes his sound design expertise to the renowned gaming studio Ubisoft.
