Days of Being Wild have taken the sombre and emotional track and given it a groovy and industrial paint job. Really embracing the oriental elements that Pyrame originally included, yet kicking it up a notch, they’ve almost changed the format completely with distorted mechanical synths that oscillate and vibrate, deciding to continuously layer these over the top of one another. Progressing further into the track, the producers known for creating “slightly deranged club music”, have kept the angelic euphoria from the original, but decided to isolate the voice during the breakdown to give you a taste of the enchanting world from beyond, as it effectively fills the track with a spooky and tension filled aura. A really interesting disco-noir approach to a progressive track.

We are beyond excited about this project for Days of Being Wild !
So here's a little story... some weeks ago Sean Johnston sent us four tracks he had made with Martyn Walsh (bass player for Inspiral Carpets !) under their new ¡La Ruta! moniker to have a feedback. We were immediately charmed and offered to release them without expecting much. But it turned out Sean and Martyn were happy to let us release them.
Then we thought the occasion was just too good to go vinyl again, several years after our last one. So we contacted Fany who recently joined the Diggers Factory team and we quickly agreed this was a nice project to work on together.
Then Graeme Swinton from Actually came into play and delivered a splendid artwork as well.

We'll make 300 copies of it but will go into production if we reach 200ex sold.
