Last Thursday, the DayoSense family took our monthly cultural cuisine adventure to experience the bold, rich, soulful flavors of West Africa at @pdjseattle — and babyyyyy… it did NOT disappoint. 🔥🍚🥘
We do this every month as a team tradition:
✨ We order all the dishes we’ve been curious about
✨ Place everything in the middle of the table
✨ Eat family-style
✨ Learn through food, laughter, and culture
From the smoky jollof rice, sweet plantain, to the savory meats, “spanking” fufu and dipping in various Egusi Soups. The Talapia with peppers ohhhhh YESS, and comforting sides like Meat Pies and Puff Puff….every bite felt like love, history, and celebration on a plate. 🙌🏾
As a catering company rooted in comfort foods from different cultures, these experiences inspire us creatively and remind us how food connects people across backgrounds and traditions.

I’m just so proud of my team. The way they moved together, stayed focused, and served with care… it was beautiful to watch.
